聊到這裡，我想大家應該可以理解為何Nicky Romero近來的作品銳減了，原因就在於他患有「焦慮症(Anxiety)」，情況甚至一度很不樂觀，使他喪失所有「想」創作的動力，但在這艱困的時刻，有一本書“At last a life”救贖了他，此書彷彿就是他人生中的Lighthouse，重新找回生命的力量，走出人生的陰霾。文末他提到，對所有曾支持他的粉絲感到抱歉，但請大家別對他喪失信心，他已調整好步伐，重回創作，更準備好正面迎擊2016年所有挑戰！
來自瑞典的Cazzette成立於2011年6月9日，是由 Alexander Björklund（左）以及 Sebastian Furrer（右）二人所組成 DJ/Producer 團體，兩位是在音樂社群平台MySpace上相識相熟的。 由於Cazzette這團名實在是太酷了，小編還去查了一下它背後所隱含的意義，結果竟然是Launched from... Nothing，哈哈。不過應該是取自“Cassette”的諧音，在後面就由我們為您揭曉為何他們會取這個名字吧！！
Style
出道時，Cazzette以Dub-House曲風見長，這是一種由Dubstep和House Music所構成的綜合體，簡單來說就是在 House 中點綴了 Dubstep 的元素，像是節奏鮮明的鼓點（Drum）和極低頻的低音（Sub-Bass），藉以創造更豐富的音樂層次。
Cazzette除了以Dub-House出名外，還有另一個明顯的特色，就是那大大的錄音帶頭罩，這有沒有讓你想起Deadmau5 的老鼠頭、Mike Candys 的微笑糖果以及 DJs From MARS 呢！？ p.s. 他們的團名“Cazzette”取自“Cassette(卡式錄音帶)”的諧音，Cassette的原意是法語中的暗盒。

Of Course～ 在電音界闖蕩的旅途上他們也受到許多 DJ 大佬（David Guetta、Tiësto、Swedish House Mafia、Avicii 以及 Martin Solveig 等等）的支持與愛戴，但不得不提在一直 Cazzette背後指點的高人就是 At Night Management 的 Ash Pournouri，他誰？！他是啟蒙並孕育了 Avicii 的音樂製作人暨經理人，Avicii 和 Cazzette 還被戲稱為是 Ash Pournouri 的寶寶呢。 Cazzette與Ash的相遇是有次看到Avicii在Youtube上的專訪，Avicii描述了Ash是一位很棒、很優秀的經理人，Ash給他幫助、讓他變得強大。一個簡單的念頭閃過腦中，Cazzette直覺地反應就是我們應該把Demo寄給Ash，或許他會喜歡。這看似不可能的作為，竟然為他們贏得通往電音聖堂的門票，Ash很喜歡他們的作品，並交給他們第一個任務─就是跟Tim Berg(Avicii)一起Remix “Sweet Dream”，而這首歌一釋出就直接衝到Beatport Top 20，使得初次啼聲的他們知名度大開。

Hit Song Cazzette前期的生涯與大多數DJ相同，都是藉由Remix其他DJ的歌曲，以提升自己的曝光度，但這樣的生活並沒有維持太久，因為他們真的是Get the Fucking Talent！！
2013年5月以一首“Beam me up”席捲了整個電音屆，成為每個夏日Party中必放的歌曲。關於這首歌的創作，一開始他們取了Fatboy Slim(流線胖小子)的歌曲“Right Here Right Now”中的Vocal，搭配他們擅長的Dub-House曲風釋出了第一版的Bootleg，聽來輕快且不失刺激感，這歌當時也受到不少大咖DJ(Tiësto、Sebastian Ingrosso及Avicii等)的回響，於是他們開始尋找適合的Vocal，抓住機會一躍，完成了這首經典的Dub-House。
Beam me up這歌不僅好聽，MV也拍得非常棒，細膩地刻劃了音樂的感染力以及人們一起享受音樂的當下，就彷彿靈魂連結在一起彼此共鳴，對於未來無懼且充滿希望的感覺。

這一年內，他們沒有釋出太多作品，多是跑Party放歌、巡迴以及宣傳先前的作品。在Sleepless釋出後接受媒體採訪，談到這次的單曲為何會與之前的歌曲Beam Me Up有如此大的差異？

這一兩年來相信大家對 KSHMR 這名字絕對不陌生，他曾以新人之姿接連攻下 Beatport 的榜單，然而你有所不知，事實上 KSHMR 早有多年的編曲經驗，與素有 EDM 界 Max Martin 之稱的 Maarten Vorwerk 一般，他們都是一首又一首膾炙人口作品的超級幕後寫手“Ghost Producer”今兒咱就來揭開這層面紗，看看 KSHMR 究竟為何方神聖
不曉得有沒有朋友跟小編一樣，開始接觸 EDM 前是先聽西洋流行樂起家，每週的例行公事就是要給他發摟一下 Billboard Hot 100 Single，直到某一天，David Guetta、Calvin Harris 這些名字接二連三地出現在歌曲榜上，當時還一度以為那個叫大衛是唱歌的咧（逃～）所以如果你也是聽西洋流行樂的老朋友，肯定知道 Like A G6 這首由 Far East Movement（東方聯盟 ）演唱且紅透半邊天的夜店國歌吧！

The Cataracs 是個美國流行音樂獨立製作團體，成員包括了 Niles Hollowell-Dhar（Cyranizzy）（圖右）及 David Benjamin Singer-Vine（Campa）（圖左），從作曲、唱歌甚至到發行都是由兩人一手包辦，而事實上兩位是高中時期的好友，所謂不打不相識，當年他倆可是以 Rap Diss 來 Diss 去才認識的呢！
聽過他們的作品就知道他們其實很有自己的味道，只可惜在競爭激烈的主流音樂市場實在難以出頭，儘管經常參與流行歌手的歌曲製作團隊，甚至也都有掛名，但許多人還是不認識他們...

到了2012年初，The Cataracs 出現前所未有的巨變，David 因個人因素宣佈退團，留下 Niles 繼續以 The Cataracs 名義參與各項活動，David 的這項決定讓許多歌迷相當震驚，少了他的話 The Cataracs 就不是 The Cataracs 了吧！不過現在想想這或許也是個契機吧，Niles 體內的電子舞曲細胞早就開始萌芽了

青春的味道嚐起來如何？恩，很難用言語表達，但我能確定的是這味道肯定不會太美味。雖然影片中的行為是過激了，但人生其實就像是一部章回小說，若總是平鋪直敘那可多無趣，有時候帶點酸、甜、苦、辣，這樣寫下去的故事才引人入勝對吧！（每個人都有各自的立場，我們應予以尊重，但目前美國最高法院已經通過了同性婚姻受憲法保障的判決，事實是多元成家即將邁入一個新紀元了 Respect to the LGBT community）

「哇！沒想到 KSHMR 也會做 Trap」，當時這首歌曲驚艷了全場，但仔細想一想卻又不是那麼地稀奇，因為他的確是位多元型的製作人，然而我想有很大一部份原因仍是追隨 Felix Snow
另外他每月推出的 Set 也肯定要聽的，小編這邊推薦他的第四集，將14年及15年初的精華一次收錄，中間更不乏夾雜許多 ID 未詳尚未 Release 的歌曲，讓人更加期待他2015下半年度的作品了，想更了解他的聽這個 Set 準沒錯，一次來個過癮吧！

後記
許多做音樂的人都是以興趣為出發點，我愛音樂，但音樂跟歌迷朋友真的愛我嗎？小編相信若能將工作與興趣相結合肯定會是人生最得意的一件事，但樂在其中的同時更要能養得起自己才行，少了這個前提其餘都是枉然。其實真的很想替 The Cataracs 打抱不平，明明這麼多經典歌曲都是由他們所製作，但這個團隊卻鮮少為人所知，若當初他們能達到東方聯盟那般的威名，我想今天 David 也不會離開了吧！但就像 Niles 所說過：「上帝關上了門，但同時也幫我們開了另一扇窗」，就算剩自己一人單打獨鬥，也願意堅持下去，我很欣賞 Niles 的做法，如同精實創業的精神，勇於嘗試，努力打怪、練等之餘，更要有洞察力跟危機意識，當你發現市場或目標客群不買單、不能支持你長久走下去，那就該 Pivot（關鍵轉折；從與市場互動的結果中再循新方向），很開心 Niles 轉換跑道後找到另一片天空，他做出了更符合市場需求的產品，同時最重要的是，他依舊在做他最愛的音樂

至於 The Cataracs 的前團員 David 呢？嗯...有消息指出 David 也曾與 Vicetone 等人有密切的聯繫，David 是否也有意願要跳進 EDM 這個大時代的洪流之中呢？而 Niles 似乎也曾暗示想與 David 重新合作，所以兩人是否有攜手重新出發的可能性？這些我們就 Wait and See 囉！不過呀，現階段小編其實更期待 Niles 哪天也能跟 Calvin Harris 一樣開金口來唱一段呢！
